The Early Childhood Program at Barrington High School serves to provide a quality child care program for children three through five years old in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages the total development of the child. In addition this program has the unique opportunity to provide a learning experience for high school students interested in the field of child development.
The Little Broncos Day School is creatively planned around the skills and interests of the children. The curriculum is designed to meet age appropriate developmental domains, as well as encourage further curiosity and exploration in an atmosphere that allows for each child’s individuality.
The main goals of the program are to encourage the children to develop a more positive self-concept, communication skills, large and small motor skills, cognitive concepts, and socialization skills. Each child will enjoy learning through play and by teacher-directed activities.
